Merge PDF

Combine multiple PDFs into one document in your chosen file order. Pages retain their sizes and rotations, and all merging happens locally in your browser.

Your content stays on your device Free, with no account
Your documents, in the right order. Local merging · no uploads

No file selected.

Choose 2–20 PDFs · 50 MiB each · 100 MiB combined · up to 500 pages total. A new selection replaces the current set.

Files merge from top to bottom, keeping each file’s page order, dimensions and rotation. Use Move up and Move down to reorder. This copies PDF pages directly without converting them into images.

Password-protected PDFs, interactive forms and signature fields are unsupported. Bookmarks, attachments, source document metadata and signatures are not preserved as a merged document. Merging is not PDF sanitization. Review the output in a trusted viewer before sharing.

    YOUR MERGED DOCUMENT

Choose a file to see its pages. Previews are rendered locally.

    No document selected.

    Ready for a document.

Working previews show planned page operations. Generated-result mode renders the actual exported PDF, image, or selected ZIP part. Preview resolution is reduced for speed; download quality is unchanged. Links, scripts and attachments are not opened.

Select PDFs, arrange their order, then merge.

    Ready. Choose your PDFs.

The complete result is offered only after every file succeeds. Stop or changing the selection discards pending work. Pages are previewed locally; document links, scripts and attachments are not opened.

Need images instead? Use PDF to Image. To build a PDF from photos, use Image to PDF.

Need selected pages or smaller parts instead? Use Split PDF.

    A FEW SIMPLE STEPS

    How to use Merge PDF

    1. Choose or drop 2–20 PDFs, up to 50 MiB per file and 100 MiB combined. A new selection replaces the current set.
    2. Arrange file order using Move up and Move down, or remove unwanted files. Each document keeps its original internal page order.
    3. Click Merge PDFs and wait for local processing. Stop cancels the operation and discards partial work.
    4. Download the merged PDF and review it in a trusted viewer. Changing files or order clears the previous result.
    PRIVATE BY DESIGN

    Why use this tool?

Your PDFs are never uploaded to any server. A self-hosted PDF library copies pages inside a cancellable browser worker. No accounts, remote processing or persistent input history are required. Clear releases the file selection and result.

Tool inputs stay in your browser. Only your theme preference is saved on this device.

    A few things worth knowing

    What are the limits?

Choose 2–20 unencrypted PDFs, up to 50 MiB each and 100 MiB combined, with a maximum of 500 total pages. The output is limited to 100 MiB. Processing stops after 30 seconds; use fewer or smaller documents if necessary.

Will quality, page sizes and rotation change?

Pages are copied directly rather than rasterized into images. Their page content, sizes and rotation are retained. This does not compress or optimize PDFs. Complex document features may behave differently; review the merged result.

Are forms, protected PDFs and document features supported?

Encrypted or password-protected PDFs, interactive AcroForms, XFA forms and signature fields are unsupported. Use an unencrypted or flattened copy from a trusted PDF editor. Merging is not sanitization. Document-level bookmarks, attachments, source metadata and signatures are not preserved as a merged document; page annotations may be copied.

Are my files stored or opened automatically?

Files stay in the current page memory. The result is only offered after every selected document succeeds. Nothing is uploaded or automatically opened, and scripts, links and attachments are not executed by this tool. Clear releases local selections and output.
