Why use this tool?

Your content is encoded on your device. It is not sent to a QR service, saved to an account, or stored by this tool. The code contains your content directly, with no tracking redirect or subscription.

Tool inputs stay in your browser. Only your theme preference is saved on this device.

A few things worth knowing

Do these QR codes expire?

The generated code itself does not expire. A website or other resource it points to may change or become unavailable. The content of a downloaded static QR code cannot be changed.

Which download format should I choose?

PNG is convenient for screens and everyday documents. SVG stays sharp at any size and works well in design software. Both downloads include a white quiet zone around the code.

Can anyone read the information in my code?

Yes. QR codes are not encryption. Anyone with access to the code may read its content, including a WiFi password. Share sensitive codes only with people you trust.

Why might a code not scan?

Keep the white border intact and use a large enough print size. Dense codes need more space. Higher error correction can tolerate some damage but increases code density. WiFi, contact and messaging behavior varies by scanning app.
