A FEW SIMPLE STEPS

How to use Case Converter

  1. Type or paste text into Original text. The original stays in place while you work.
  2. Choose uppercase, lowercase, title case or sentence case. The converted preview updates automatically.
  3. Review the result, especially names, acronyms, abbreviations and text in other languages.
  4. Copy the converted text or download it as TXT. Clear text removes both the input and the result.

Why use this tool?

Case conversion happens entirely on your device, without uploads, an account or browser storage. You can compare the original with the converted text before copying it. Spaces, punctuation and line breaks remain in place.

Tool inputs stay in your browser. Only your theme preference is saved on this device.

A few things worth knowing

How does title case work?

Every word is lowercased, then its first letter is capitalized. Apostrophes within a word stay within that word, while hyphens separate words. This is simple capitalization, not an editorial style such as AP or Chicago; small words such as and and the are capitalized too.

How does sentence case work?

The text is lowercased, then the first letter at the beginning and after a period, question mark, exclamation mark or line break is capitalized. A period between digits is treated as a decimal separator. This is a simple rule, not grammar analysis, so abbreviations, names and acronyms need review.

Will names, acronyms and URLs stay unchanged?

No. Lowercase, title case and sentence case can change names, acronyms, URLs and code. Your original remains available in the input. Review the converted result before copying it.

Does it support Unicode text?

It uses JavaScript Unicode case mappings and recognizes Unicode letters for capitalization. Emoji and scripts without uppercase/lowercase forms remain unchanged. Language-specific rules, such as Turkish dotted and dotless I, are not selected by locale. Some mappings expand a character into multiple letters.

Are spaces and line breaks preserved?

Yes. The converter does not trim, collapse or reformat whitespace. Browser textareas represent line breaks as LF, and downloaded text uses that representation. Punctuation stays in place.

What is the text limit?

The input limit is 200,000 UTF-16 text units; some emoji use more than one unit. Oversized input is preserved, but conversion and exports stay unavailable until you shorten it. Your text is not saved when you leave or reload the page.
