A few things worth knowing
Which editing features are included?
Brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, blur, sepia, grayscale, invert, vignette and presets; numeric and drag cropping; rotate, flip, resize and border; pen, marker, eraser, lines and shapes; blur, pixelate, red-eye reduction and sharpen; local warp, stretch, twist, bulge and pinch brushes; text, emoji stickers and image overlays. Zoom, undo/redo, revert and PNG/JPEG/WebP downloads are included. This is a flattened raster editor without movable layers or vector objects.
What are reshape brushes?
Warp pushes nearby pixels along a drag. Stretch expands along your stroke direction. Twist rotates a local area, bulge expands it and pinch contracts it. Brush radius and strength control the effect. Twist, bulge and pinch also work with a click. Each stroke is one undo step. Resampling can soften details, and large brushes or repeated strokes can be slower on older devices.
Will my original resolution be preserved?
Input is limited to static PNG, JPEG or WebP files up to 20 MiB, 40 megapixels and 16,384 pixels per side. The editor creates a working copy fitted within 2,400 pixels per side and 4 megapixels, without upscaling. Source and working dimensions are shown explicitly. Downloads use the current working dimensions, not the original dimensions when reduction was necessary. Your source file is never modified.
How do adjustments and undo work?
Color adjustments are a live preview until Apply adjustments. Apply or reset them before using other editing tools. Downloads include pending adjustments without committing them. Undo first resets a pending adjustment preview, otherwise it restores the previous committed edit. A stroke is one undo step. Undo/redo history is bounded to 64 MiB of raster pixels and 12 snapshots in total, so older edits are released as needed. Revert restores the original working copy and can itself be undone.
Can I reposition text or an overlay later?
Text, stickers, brush strokes and placed overlays are flattened into pixels. Undo the placement and place it again to reposition it. Text, stickers and overlays offer center-placement buttons as well as pointer placement. Crop also offers numeric coordinates, and transform controls work without dragging. Freehand and reshape brushes require a pointer or touch.
How are transparency, orientation and export handled?
The browser applies image orientation before editing. PNG preserves the edited raster without lossy compression; JPEG and WebP use the selected lossy quality. PNG and WebP can keep transparency, while JPEG fills it with your chosen background. Output is limited to 32 MiB and encoding has a 15-second response limit. Original metadata, profile behavior and encoded bytes are not preserved, and browser color handling can affect appearance.
Are blur and pixelation secure redaction?
No. They are visual editing effects and are not guaranteed to hide sensitive information irreversibly. Review the exported pixels before sharing. This editor does not automatically detect or remove people, private information, embedded visual identifiers or backgrounds.
