Ready. Sound or microphone access starts only from your action.

Behavior, limits & privacy

Eight procedural sounds: Kick, Snare, Closed hat, Open hat, Clap, Tom, Cowbell and Rim. These are synthesized approximations, not recordings. Pads retrigger their own sound, with bounded concurrent voices. Computer shortcuts work only in the focused pad area. No sequencer or audio export is claimed.

All processing stays in this browser. Hidden documents, Reset, workflow switching and page exit stop audio and microphone access. No uploads or stored performance/history. Optional JSON reports download only when chosen.

A FEW SIMPLE STEPS

How to use Drum Pad

  1. Choose the visible settings. Start at a low device volume for playback; the tuner requires explicit microphone permission.
  2. Use the controls next to the instrument, beat or live tuning preview.
  4. Stop or Reset when finished. Reports are optional; hiding, switching or leaving releases local audio and microphone access.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Why use this tool?

Instruments and practice run locally using self-hosted code and synthesized sound. Only the tuner requests microphone audio, after Start; its samples are analysed locally without recording, monitoring or upload.

Tool inputs stay in your browser. Only your theme preference is saved on this device.

A few things worth knowing

How does this tool work?

Eight procedural sounds: Kick, Snare, Closed hat, Open hat, Clap, Tom, Cowbell and Rim. These are synthesized approximations, not recordings. Pads retrigger their own sound, with bounded concurrent voices. Computer shortcuts work only in the focused pad area. No sequencer or audio export is claimed.

Does it upload audio or store practice history?

No. Generated sounds, local observations and practice results remain in the active browser page. Only the tuner requests microphone permission, and no microphone samples are recorded or uploaded.

What happens on Stop, hidden tab or switching?

Playback, scheduled notes, microphone tracks and analysis are stopped. Reset and workspace switching release working state. A downloaded JSON report remains under your control outside the application.
