What this test can show

This is a manual visual inspection. Solid colours can help you notice stuck/dead pixels, but the browser cannot inspect your physical panel or certify it is defect-free. Fullscreen is optional and may be unavailable. Use Next pattern and move the small overlay controls to inspect the area they cover. No automatic flashing or system brightness changes.

A FEW SIMPLE STEPS

How to use Display Colour & Dead-Pixel Test

  1. Choose a display pattern or inspect the current browser-reported screen information.
  2. Inspect the pattern visually. Fullscreen expands it; Escape or Exit fullscreen returns. Overlay controls can move to expose covered pixels.
  3. Review the live observations. Stop and Reset are available for active tests; fullscreen remains optional.
  4. Download a report if wanted. Hidden tabs, switching or page exit stop active capture or playback.

Why use this tool?

These tools run locally and do not upload your device observations, camera video, microphone input or interaction events. There are no accounts or stored test histories. Camera and microphone access stays under browser permission controls.

Tool inputs stay in your browser. Only your theme preference is saved on this device.

A few things worth knowing

What does this test measure?

This is a manual visual inspection. Solid colours can help you notice stuck/dead pixels, but the browser cannot inspect your physical panel or certify it is defect-free. Fullscreen is optional and may be unavailable. Use Next pattern and move the small overlay controls to inspect the area they cover. No automatic flashing or system brightness changes.

Can the website certify my hardware is working?

No. The browser exposes a limited set of events and reported settings. Inspect or listen to the actual result and compare with other applications if needed. Missing browser events or unavailable features do not prove a hardware failure.

What happens when I stop or leave?

Active input capture, audio playback and camera/microphone tracks are released on Stop, hidden tab, workspace switching and page exit. Pending permission results are ignored and late tracks stopped. Reports download only when explicitly chosen.
