Scope, limits & privacy

Capture 2–60 JPEG frames, 1–60 seconds apart, with a 32 MiB total and 2 MiB per-frame cap. Actual elapsed timestamps are included in manifest.json; delayed frames are not invented or backfilled. The camera stops after completion. Export is a verified ZIP of still frames, not an encoded video. Leaving or hiding stops capture; already completed frames can be exported, including a single completed frame from a stopped sequence.

HTTPS or localhost and browser camera permission are required. Facing direction and dimensions are preferences; delivered settings are shown. No camera history or uploads. Hidden tabs stop capture, and Reset, switching or exit releases captures, workers, URLs and tracks.

A few things worth knowing

Capture 2–60 JPEG frames, 1–60 seconds apart, with a 32 MiB total and 2 MiB per-frame cap. Actual elapsed timestamps are included in manifest.json; delayed frames are not invented or backfilled. The camera stops after completion. Export is a verified ZIP of still frames, not an encoded video. Is camera access automatic?

No. Press Start camera and grant browser permission. Facing direction and resolution are preferences. Denied, unavailable and delayed permission states are handled explicitly; late cancelled streams are stopped.

What happens when I stop or hide the page?

Stop and hidden tabs end camera capture, cancel pending countdowns/sequences and release optional sound. Completed captures remain available in the current page. Reset, workspace switching and page exit discard them and revoke application URLs. Downloaded files remain under your control.
