Inputs & draw rules

No file selected.

Plain text only, one entry per line. Up to 512 KiB /200,000 characters. Failed imports keep previous working text.

Enter values or load the example. No draw happens automatically.

Draw behavior & limits

Up to50 eligible tickets, each with equal per-ticket probability. Keep duplicate tickets to intentionally give repeated labels more chances. The outcome is selected cryptographically before animation; Reveal now ends animation without changing the chosen result. Reduced-motion preference skips animation. Full labels remain in input/JSON; wheel labels shorten visually. No-repeat state is local to this active tool.

Secure randomness reuses the existing Security sampler, with no Math.random fallback. Processing limit10seconds. Results are local, not an audited or verifiable public lottery. Source/settings edits invalidate outputs; exporting never redraws.

    A FEW SIMPLE STEPS

    How to use Decision Wheel

    1. Enter choices or load the example. List-based tools can import a local UTF-8 text file; review filename/size/status and duplicate/exclusion rules.
    2. Choose draw, grouping or card settings. No-repeat tools show the current remaining ticket pool and offer explicit restoration.
    3. Generate locally and inspect the actual result. The wheel selects once before animation; Reveal now does not redraw.
    4. Copy/download the saved result or reports. Bingo prints/downloads the existing cards. Clear or workflow switching releases local draw state.

    Why use this tool?

Your lists, participant names, choices and generated results remain in your browser. Self-hosted code uses cryptographic random values and unbiased sampling without uploads, accounts or application input history.

Tool inputs stay in your browser. Only your theme preference is saved on this device.

    A few things worth knowing

What rules and limits are used?

Up to50 eligible tickets, each with equal per-ticket probability. Keep duplicate tickets to intentionally give repeated labels more chances. The outcome is selected cryptographically before animation; Reveal now ends animation without changing the chosen result. Reduced-motion preference skips animation. Full labels remain in input/JSON; wheel labels shorten visually. No-repeat state is local to this active tool.

Is this a publicly verifiable lottery?

No. This is a private browser utility using cryptographic random values with unbiased sampling. Someone controlling their own browser can change inputs or repeat draws. It does not certify an audited lottery or prove fairness to outside observers.

What happens with repeated labels and repeat draws?

List-based tools make exact duplicate handling explicit. Separate duplicate tickets can display the same label. Name Picker and Wheel optionally remember ticket IDs until the pool is restored or source/policy/exclusions change. Ordinary generated batches in other tools are independent. No input history persists after page exit.

    Are imports or results uploaded?

No. Optional UTF-8 text imports are read locally with filename, size and loading/ready/error status. Manual replacement, samples and Clear remove obsolete selections, and failed imports keep previous working text. Copy/download happens only when chosen; those external copies remain outside app cleanup.
